Eun Yi Chung

EunYi Chung is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests broadly encompass econometric theory and its applications. She specializes in developing advanced methods for inference and establishing the theoretical foundations for various econometric techniques, aiming to enhance their practical utility in empirical research. A significant portion of her work focuses on permutation tests and related resampling methods. Before joining UIUC, she earned her PhD in economics and Master’s in statistics at Stanford University. Her undergraduate degrees are from Soka University of America and Seoul National University.
