It is a start-up founded by a successful data scientist and executive who has led thriving ecommerce businesses for over a decade, as well as a successful private equity investor with over a decade of experience in the consumer and ecommerce sector.
At Digital Performance Partners, we strive to drive the success of our clients by delivering superior ad spend efficiency by leveraging best-in-class advanced analytics solutions. We take a thoughtful approach to optimizing the drivers of true ecommerce success through a disciplined use of data. More specifically, we leverage a deep analytics toolkit to estimate the impact of marketing strategies and determine optimal advertising campaign spend levels based on those results.

 

The role is to join the company’s advanced analytics team, reporting directly to and working closely with the Co-Founder/CTO, and also working closely with the Advanced Analytics Leader. Key responsibilities are outlined below, which will have a major impact on the commercial capabilities of the company.
•Support the continuous build-out and enhancements of the company’s proprietary advanced analytics infrastructure.
•Deploy multiple techniques in advanced analytics such as machine learning, natural language processing, linear and non-linear regressions, cluster analysis, optimizers and others into a code base that continuously analyzes data on the performance of different advertising actions and makes corrections to guarantee optimal performance.
•Develop new code branches and maintain existing code branches to guarantee continuous evolution of quality and timeliness of our advertising strategies.
•Test and improve the company’s advanced analytics approaches and code, as we have a lengthy product roadmap still to be created.
•Expand the company’s capabilities within new ecommerce channels and new product modules.
•Work closely with the Co-Founder/CTO and our analytics/technology team to identify, design and develop improvements to our solutions.

 

Skill Requirements

•Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in applied data science or statistics, with computer science a plus but not required.
•Technical Skills:
oStrength in predictive and descriptive analytics modeling, including linear and non-linear regression, and/or machine learning (e.g. random forests), and/or optimization (e.g. linear and non-linear optimizers), and/or natural language processing.
oSignificant data analysis experience using Python.
oExperience with Github and version control software, SQL and front-end tools (e.g. Tableau, JavaScript, C#, HTTP, etc.) are a plus, but not required.
