The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) have officially released the prepublication version of a major consensus study, Frontiers of Statistics in Science and Engineering: 2035 and Beyond. UW Statistics and Biostatistics Professor Daniela Witten was a co-author of the report.

With data driven research continuing to expand across climate science, public health, infrastructure, national security, and more, Frontiers of Statistics in Science and Engineering: 2035 and Beyond outlines how agencies, universities, national laboratories, and industry can adapt to rapidly evolving methodological and computational landscapes. The publication is available for online reading or purchase through the National Academies Press. [nationalac...demies.org]
