We are pleased to announce that Adrian Raftery has become the founding chair of the recently established PNAS Statistical Review Committee. The goal of the new committee is to improve the quality of statistical analysis in PNAS articles. It is hoped that this new initiative will contribute both to science generally and to the visibility of the statistics profession.
