We are proud to announce that Medha Agarwal was selected to receive an Institute of Mathematical Statistics Hannan Graduate Student Travel Award to attend Bayes Comp 2023 in Levi, Finland, where she presented a talk entitled “Globally-Centered Autocovariances in MCMC". Medha is a Ph.D. student in the Statistics Department, where she is advised by Prof. Zaid Harchaoui. IMS will be highlighting all the 2023 IMS Hannan Graduate Student Travel Award recipients in the IMS Bulletin, IMS social media pages, and during the IMS Presidential address at the 2023 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Toronto this summer.
