Tyler McCormick, Associate Professor of Statistics and Sociology, will serve as a speaker/panelist for the NISS Ingram Olkin Forum: Statistical Methods for Combatting Human Trafficking, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (EST/US). This will be a free three-hour webinar.
Along with the other expert speaker/panelists, Dr. McCormick will describe statistical approaches for estimating prevalence, especially multiple systems estimation, respondent-driven sampling, and economic modeling with regards to combatting human trafficking.
