Daniela Witten, Professor of Biostatistics and Statistics, Dorothy Gilford endowed Chair of Mathematical Statistics, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) along with another UW Biostatistics faculty member, Kwun (Gary) Chan, Professor of Biostatistics, Professor of Health Services.
Fellows are named for their outstanding contributions to statistical science, leadership, and advancement of the field. They will be recognized at the 2020 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Philadelphia during the ASA President’s Address and Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all on this prestigious recognition!
