We are proud to announce that Yen-Chi Chen, Assistant Professor of Statistics, has been bestowed the Gottfried E. Noether Early Career Scholar award from the American Statistical Association (ASA). The Gottfried E. Noether Early Career Scholar Award is given each year to an accomplished young researcher and teacher in the area of nonparametric statistics. Chen will give a lecture and receive his award at the upcoming Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) during the ASA President’s Address and Awards Ceremony.
