We are pleased to announce that Bao Han Ngo has been selected as one of this year’s Husky 100. For the past 10 years, this program has recognized the outstanding work and achievements of students on all three University of Washington campuses who are making the most of their Husky Experience.
Bao Han graduated spring quarter 2025 with B.S. degrees in Statistics (Data Science) and Anthropology (Evolutionary Biology) w/ a minor in Bioethics.
“To me, the beauty of statistics is that it is so much more than just numbers: statistics is storytelling. But after four years of studying statistics and developing data-driven solutions to questions in fields ranging from public health to finance, I realize that there are just some things probability can’t get right. All the little bits that make up my Husky Experience – from mentorship and research to Vietnamese culture and coal mines – might be highly improbable, yet they’ve come together in a way that feels just right.”
