The Statistics Tutor and Study Center is available for drop in tutoring beginning on Friday January 9th, 2026!
The Statistics Tutor and Study Center, located in the Communications Building B-023, is dedicated to furthering undergraduate statistical education at UW. Free drop-in tutoring is offered for all students enrolled in UW introductory statistics courses (any campus) and many faculty and TAs hold office hours in the Center as well. The Tutor Center offers in person drop in tutoring all week, as well as remote drop in tutoring on Zoom Mondays through Thursdays.
Weekly Hours:
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In person); Monday - Friday
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Remote on Zoom); Monday - Thursday

We support students in all introductory statistics courses including:

Some statistics courses may utilize the study center space for individual office hours.
Assistance with higher-level courses may be available depending on the familiarity of the individual drop in tutors.

Tutors are available from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Fri, as well as 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM remotely (link) Mon-Thurs.
Note that the STSC may experience unscheduled closures in cases of staff illness.
