Introduction to Probability and Mathematical Statistics I

Course Description

Fundamentals of probability for statistics; axioms of probability, conditional and joint probability, independence; random variables, univariate and multivariate distributions and densities, moments, and moment generating functions; binomial, negative binomial, geometric, Poisson, uniform, normal, exponential distributions; and transformations of a random variable.
