Shubhadeep Chakraborty is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Biostatistics at University of Washington, Seattle, working with Prof. Ali Shojaie. He completed Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University in August 2020. Among other notable academic, presentation and travel awards, he received Anant Kshirsagar Endowed Fellowship in 2017 from the Department of Statistics and the extremely prestigious Distinguished Graduate Student Award in 2019 from the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University in recognition of outstanding academic record. Chakraborty has served as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and has held the positions of the Vice President and President of the Statistics Graduate Student Association at Texas A&M University. His research interests include Nonparametric Statistics, High Dimensional Statistics, Causal Inference and Change-Point Detection.
