Joshua Neil is an award winning statistician and inventor. While at Los Alamos National Laboratory, he built data driven solutions for the US Government in cyber security. He and his team invented an anomaly detection solution, called PathScan, winning an R&D 100 award, and resulting in a number of patents. PathScan was licensed by Ernst & Young LLC, and went on to achieve over $10 Million in revenue, being deployed for some of the largest fortune 500 companies. In 2018, Dr. Neil joined Microsoft, leading a team of data scientists designing the next generation of cyber detection technology as part of Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection.
