She is a Professor of Statistics, a member of the Center for Applied Mathematics and of the Computer Science Machine Learning group at Cornell University. Her research focuses on the development of methodology and theory for high dimensional models with low dimensional structures. Recent interests include matrix factorization, model-based clustering and post-clustering inference. She has served and is serving as an associate editor for a large array of statistical journals.
